About the Job

Overview

We have sent over 160 volunteers to Mexico and Colombia since 2009 and we continue to grow! We are looking for a volunteer teacher for our semester program in Colombia. Locations: Monteria, Pasto, Yopal. The program is an English teaching assistant position working with public school English teachers in-classroom and in conversational English classes. Teaching in exchange for housing and meals with a Colombian teacher – no work visa required. Time commitment is between two and three months during the period August 1 – December 1 (dates flexible).

Qualifications: 24+ years old, 1 year of teaching experience OR CELTA/Oxford Seminars TEFL certificate, basic-level Spanish, undergraduate degree.
