About the Job
Overview
Varee Chiangmai International School, is seeking dedicated professionals to teach in our English Programme annex for the 2018 academic year. Our hiring process requires that all teachers, regardless of qualifications, demonstrate their ability to engage learners in a successful lesson. We are currently interviewing prospective teachers who can join us for our summer camp which begins on March 26th.
We are located on a purpose built campus with well-equipped classrooms designed for 21st century education, close to the centre of Chiang Mai, one of Thailand’s principal cultural centres. Varee Chiang Mai International School is unique in Thailand in that it is licensed to teach both Thai and international curricula. Supporting our teacher’s professional development is one of our top priorities.
You must have a teaching qualification from a recognised institution and relevant experience. You will be able to plan effective lessons under C.E.F.R. indicators and the Thai Educational System. You will also be required to undertake curriculum development and create digital resources. You will be a team player able to work as part of a professional team. There are 20 teaching hours per week. You will be a Native English Speaker and hold a passport from UK, Ireland, US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand or South Africa.
We offer a locally competitive salary dependent on qualifications and experience, but starting from a minimum of 45,000 Baht. We also offer BUPA medical insurance, visa and work permit support, 9 weeks paid holiday and diverse choices for free lunches in our food court.
