Overview

The Job: 
Shanghai Star Education is the oldest established GAC (Global Assessment Certificate) center in China. Aimed at helping middle school and high school students to improve their academic English, Star Education uses the specific GAC global curriculum specifically tailored and developed by ACT Solution Ltd. 
We are currently seeking full time teachers for our center in the greater Shanghai area. We need qualified and experienced teachers to join our professional and hard working team. You will be part of a team of committed teachers who can add value to the school in many ways.

Main Responsibilities: 
22-25 classes teaching per week/40Min one class 
Use audio / video materials in classes 
Cooperate with TAs in ensuring the constructive communication and efficient operation of the centre 
Participate training workshop and communication meeting frequently to improve teaching performance 
Raise professional advice and feedback to students' English progress 
Teaching kids aged 14-18

Requirements 
Four-year Bachelor's degree 
Teachers holding a 120 hour TEFL certificate (or equivalent). Candidates without a TEFL certificate are still encouraged to apply, as we can arrange for this qualification to be taken on arrival in Shanghai 
Native English speaker from UK, USA, Canada, Australia, or New Zealand 
Two years teaching or relevant experience (strongly recommended) 
Plenty of passion and energy 
Good team player with our foreign teachers group

We offer: 
a competitive starting salary of 13,000-18,000 RMB per month before tax 
Competitive salary and 150RMB for each one period for overtime teaching hour
