1. FULL-TIME position (morning and evening split shift, adults)
2. PART-TIME evenings (adults)
3. SATURDAY PART-TIME classes (junior)
DETAILED INFORMATION
1) FULL-TIME position
Location: Right outside Geumjeong Station, exit 5 (Lines 1 & 4)
Number of positions: 1 native teacher
Student focus: Intermediate-advanced adult students (textbooks provided)
Dates: March, 2018 (perhaps earlier)
Schedule: Weekday mornings from 6:30am to 12pm; Monday, Wednesday and alternate Friday evenings from 6:25pm to 9:40pm
Class length: Mornings--Three 50-minute lessons, One 100-minute lesson; Evenings—Two 100-minute lessons
Number of students per class: approximately 3-12
Compensation: Industry standard (2.4 to 2.6 KRW, negotiable depending on qualifications and experience—2 to 3 years of experience teaching in Korea preferred)
Housing: Provided, or a 300,000 KRW monthly allowance
Health insurance: Yes
Severance bonus: Yes
Airfare: Return flight only
Notes: Instructors currently in Korea preferred.
2) PART-TIME evenings
Location: Right outside Geumjeong Station, exit 5 (Lines 1 & 4)
Number of positions: 1 or 2 native teachers
Student focus: Intermediate-advanced adult students (textbook provided)
Dates: Starting the beginning of January 2018
Schedule: Monday, Wednesday and alternate Friday evenings from 6:25pm to 9:40pm
Class length: Two 100-minute lessons
Number of students per class: 3-12
Compensation: 400,000 KRW a class per month (total of 800,000 KRW)
Housing: N/A
Health insurance: N/A
Severance: N/A
Notes: Business classes (40,000 KRW/hour) and private lessons (25,000 KRW/hour) may also be offered depending on demand
3) SATURDAY PART-TIME classes
Location: Right outside Geumjeong Station, exit 5 (Lines 1 & 4)
Number of positions: 1 or 2 native teachers
Student focus: Intermediate proficiency elementary and middle school students (well-behaved!). Textbooks provided
Dates: Starting January 6, 2018 (or sooner if you’d like)
Schedule: First lesson 10m~12pm; Second lesson 1pm ~ 3pm
Class length: Two 120-minute lessons (you may take breaks half-way through)
Number of students per class: 3-12
Compensation: 240,000 KRW a class per month (or 500,000 KRW for both per month)
Housing: N/A
Health insurance: N/A
Severance: N/A
Notes: Private lessons for middle school students may also be offered (30,000 KRW per hour)
