Nursery Teachers – January 2018

• Premium Educational Consultancy located in central Bangkok is looking to hire two full-time teachers for its new Nursery group of children who are 3 and 4 years old. 
• The starting date for the class will be Friday, 19th January, 2018. The teaching and learning day starts at 8.00 am and concludes at 3.00 pm. Classes are Monday through Friday.
• The Lead Teacher must be a native English language speaker who is Early Years trained, qualified and experienced. He or she should be familiar with the UK Early Years Foundation Stage Programme. The students will learn through discovery, investigation and play. The teacher will be expected to manage and inspire the students by using an array of hands-on activities so that each and every child experiences an exciting variety of learning outcomes. 
• The Assistant Teacher will be an experienced and qualified educator who is a Thai or Philippino national. The Assistant Teacher must be fluent in English and Thai although the medium of instruction will be solely English. Applicants who can also communicate in Japanese or Korean will have a distinct advantage. The Assistant Teacher must be able to work alongside the Lead Teacher and support him or her and the children throughout the teaching and learning day.
• At least one of the teachers should be trained and certified in First-Aid. 
• Both the Lead Teacher and the Assistant teacher will write comprehensive narrative reports from time to time and also meet with parents on a regular basis in order to discuss each child’s progress.
• The teachers will be expected to allow both current and prospective parents into the classroom so that the parents can see first-hand how the programme is being delivered. 
• Both teachers will be supported and evaluated by an Early Years Educational Consultant who will support and offer training to the teachers at various points during the academic year. 
• The teachers will each have a current DBS (police check) certificate and also be familiar with the UK Child Protection Policy and all Health and Safety issues.
• Applications must include a detailed letter of application (including details of educational philosophy and what makes the applicant an outstanding teacher of young learners) and a current professional Curriculum Vitae. CVs should include a professional head and shoulders photograph embedded alongside the text.
