About the Job

Overview

We are currently looking to expend our program and would like to add native teachers from North America. We are currently looking for qualified teachers who are available to work from their homes and teach English via an internet phone ( www.skype.com).

Recently, we developed an online video system so you can use not only the telephone, but also the video system as teaching equipment. We will provide you this equipment .

As a result, you are not required to get an E-2 Visa since they work from their homes and teach students in Korea.

Students will be of all age groups: kindergarten- adults. Most clients are elementary and Junior high school students. There are 4-6 students per class save for adults. The adult classes will have 10-12 students per class.

The contract will be either 3 or 6 months. Most of the shifts are in the early morning or late evening, though there are also shifts later in the morning and earlier in the evening.
Teachers that work 8 hours a day, will recieve US$ 1600 per month. Teachers that work 4 hours a day,will be paid US$ 800.
You may work more than one shift as long as you do not exceed a total of 8 hours per day. Shifts range in length from 1 to 8 hours.
Here hourly pay will be US$ 10.
This is a 3 months or 6 months contract position, renewable upon expiry.and this is a telecommuting job.You must work on American/Canadian holidays but will have all Korean holidays off.

Skills Required:

Qualifications:
o University Graduate OR currently in your 3rd or 4th year of University
o TESOL is an asset
o Speak excellent English in the standard neutral accent
o Culturally sensitive and able to confidently deal with language barriers
o Ability to supplement curriculum material with useful and interesting discussions
o Ability to keep the conversation constantly flowing between tutor and student
o Outgoing personality with an energetic and pleasant voice
