About the Job
Overview
The main responsibilities
- Manage overall division’s course design
- Execute curriculum & assessment development
- Plan, design, structure, develop course outline and content
- Ensure content alignment with curriculum standards
- Course items will include learning objectives, lesson outcomes, scope and sequence, course map, tables of contents, lessons, videos, storyboards, scripts, teacher resources including lesson plans, and activities for teachers and student
- Develop prototypes and content when necessary
- While reporting to Academic director, it is essential to coordinate with Academic Quality Assurance, and other related divisions to ensure work flow and maintain communication about work process
- Ensure implementation of best-practice approaches and methodologies in the teaching of concepts, knowledge and skills
Qualifications and Experience
Initial
- BA in Curriculum Design, Education, TESOL, ESL, English, EAP, or similar
- CELTA
- At least 5 years in English Curriculum Design, Content Development, or similar role
- At least 5 years in ESL/EFL/TESOL teaching
Preferred
- MA in Curriculum Design, Education, TESOL, ESL, or similar
- DELTA
- Previous experience in E-Learning industry is an asset
Skills
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Efficiency in MS Office and computer programs in general
- Ability to work in high pressure environment
