Overview

Hi to all the adventurers interested in teaching English and discovering South America!

We are Idiomas Sin Fronteras, a language school situated in Northern Chilean Patagonia. We are looking for a motivated native or fluent English speaker (C1-C2) with teaching experience or qualifications to work in our school in Puerto Varas. You do not need a university degree in the field, but you should have a TEFL certificate or similar. Start date: March 2021 End date:  July 30th 2021 (with possibility to extend the contract if you are happy at the school)

You will have to teach 25 hours a week to 1-to-1 classes or small groups, at the moment we are doing online classes, but there is always the possibility to comeback to the face-to-face classes if Puerto Varas is COVID free. The school will provide you with the syllabus, computer and resources, also supervision and feedback.

What do we offer?

• 40 working hours a week (including up to 25 teaching hours).
• Free accommodation with access to all the facilities, WIFI included.
• $ 350 000 CLP of Monthly Salary (after taxes).
• Monthly bonus of $50,000 CLP according to your performance
• For the full year contract we offer a Job contract, health insurance and help with your work VISA.
• Free Spanish Lessons + Free access to adventure sports (kayaking, mountain biking, trekking…) immerse in a beautiful landscape

What do we require?

• Open-minded, good communicative skills, enthusiastic, sociable, creative, proactive and versatile personality
• Commitment with a Second Language School that values education as a process and perceives the teachers as facilitators in this process.
• English Native speaker
• University Degree regardless of the Major
• English teaching certificates or/and teaching experience

We provide our teachers with teaching material, we also provide guidelines and feedback on the lesson planning and class management.
