Overview

Universidad del Istmo (UNISTMO) is a public university in Oaxaca state, Mexico. We seek a full-time teacher to join our faculty and help provide English instruction to our student body on campuses in Tehuantepec, Ixtepec, and Juchitán. Good salary, good benefits, tenure potential, paid sabbatical, paid vacation and holidays. We offer 6-month renewable contracts and will assist you in finding a place to live.

Currently we are teaching classes online and anticipate this to continue thru the end of the year. The visa process usually takes 2 months or so, after which you're free to come and begin working, regardless of the current timing of classes.
