Job Description:
Teaching students aged 3 – 12 years old
Class size: 6 students per class
Class length: 40 minutes
5 day work week with 2 days off
Contract Hours: 35 a week (20 teaching hours and 15 hours for lesson planning and non-teaching work)
Weekly Schedule: weekday afternoons (14:00 - 21:00) & weekends (09:00 - 18:00). 2 weekdays off
Depending on your time, you may be asked to provide a limited number of demonstration classes to potential customers, as well as to bring your energy and ideas to PBL classes
Plan lessons of a high standard
Participate in ongoing academic training sessions and workshops
Requirements:
- Native English speakers with a Bachelor’s Degree or higher
- TEFL / TESOL certificate is preferred, but not required
- Non-criminal record / police clearance
- Applicants must be passport holders from the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand or South Africa. (For visa purposes)
- 2 years teaching experience is preferred, but not required
- Passion for working with children
- Must possess strong communication skills and enjoy working in a multi-cultural environment
Benefits:
- Base salary from 16,000RMB - 21,000RMB ($2,300 - $3,000) per month

What it's like to teach at i2 Education:
When you join i2 Education, you’ll teach small class sizes, with a maximum of 6 students per class. As a new teacher, you will be supported from day one. First, you will receive professional training to help you become competent in the classroom. After observing lessons from experienced teachers, you will begin co-teaching with them, to propel your confidence and hone your newfound teaching skills. After this, you will finally have your own classes.
