Jeonranam Province- Yeonggwang County- *Starting Date March~April 2007- Higher Salary, Costal City, Long Vacation
Located in Northwestern region of Jeollanam-Do,

Yeonggwang抯 geographical features are mountain region on the east, flat field on the west, Ria coast. Yeonggwang抯 resources are abundant farming and marine products, rice, barley, and laver. Various marine tourism resources are broad foreshore, elegant coast, and natural sceneries in both inhabited and uninhabited islands.

Skills Required:
*** Applicants must:
旽old a minimum of Bachelor抯 degree from an accredited university.
旴e a citizen from a country where the only official language is English. Canadian citizens from the Quebec Province and countries where English is a co-official language and/or applicants from non-English language backgrounds whose first language is not English must have been taught in English-language schools from junior high school forth to the university level.
*Ethnic Korean applicants with foreign citizenships or legal residencies must have been taught in English-language schools from junior high school forth and have lived abroad for minimum of 10 years. (If you are a male citizen of the Republic of Korea under the age of 35, you must have either completed mandatory military service or have received an official waiver.)

旴e fluent and proficient in the English language grammar and structure and be able to communicate fluently with clear and distinct pronunciation and manner.
旴e mentally and physically capable of performing the specified responsibilities and duties. Must also have the ability and willingness to adapt to Korean culture and living.
昅eet the criteria of eligibility for E2 (work) visa set forth by the Korean Immigration Authority.
昑ESOL or TEFL Certificates, Education Degrees, or Teaching Experience is desirable but not required

- American and Canadian are eligible for a pension distribution refund if he/she submits the required documents to the Korean National Pension Corporation when he/she leaves Korea after the completion of his/her contract.

1.Application Form
2.Your formal resume(Must not include part time positions in Korea)
3.Your Original Degree (BA/BS degree of Higher) or Notarized copy of your degree (Notarization must be done by a Korean consulate. So you have to notarize the original degree at a Notary of the public first and send it to it the Korean Consulate to notarize it again with their seal)
4.2 original copies of sealed and enveloped university transcript that is stamped or signed by university. (Must not be opened)
5.A clear copy of the information page of your passport
6.Any original or notarized copies of relevant certificates (TEFL,TESL,TESOL,CELTA)
- Eg. if you have a TESOL certificate, the training hours have to be stated on the certificate, otherwise a letter to proof that you did more than 100 hours of training must be submitted)
7.An official and original criminal record check (from the Department of Justice or from Police Station)
- All Public Schools require a criminal record check and most take 2~3 weeks so please apply for it ASAP.
8.An official medical certificate (You have to get a doctor’s signature and hospital’s stamp on the second form)
9.Two passport sized photos
10.Two reference letter with an official letterhead
11.Employment proof of previous or current employment (It should be more than 2 years experience if a teacher is level 1, If a teacher is level 2, one year experience employment proof would be fine).
12.Three signed copies of your employment contract (One is for you, one is for school and one is for immigration office)
- You must sign on every single page of 3 contracts.
