Located in Northwestern region of Jeollanam-Do, Yeonggwang抯 geographical features are mountain region on the east, flat field on the west, Ria coast. Yeonggwang抯 resources are abundant farming and marine products, rice, barley, and laver. Various marine tourism resources are broad foreshore, elegant coast, and natural sceneries in both inhabited and uninhabited islands.

Gyeonggi Province is located in the central western part of Korea. It surrounds the metropolis of Seoul and city of Incheon, borders Hwanghae Province in the north, Gangwon Province in the east, South-Chungcheong Province in the south and the Yellow Sea in the west. The Seoul-Gyeonggi metropolitan area is home to 22 million people, accounting for 46%of the total population of South Korea. Gyeonggi Province itself had a population exceeding 9.28 million people in 2000, 87%of whom live in urban areas. The population of Gyeonggi Province is expected to surpass 10 million by the year 2003, making it the largest local self-governing body in Korea.

Changwon is located at the far southeastern end of the Korean Peninsula, together with Masan-si and Busan-si. Changwon also has 12.6km of coastline that is adjacent to Masan Bay. Located in the southern part of central Gyeongsangnam-do province which occupies the southeastern area of Korean peninsula, Changwon accommodates a large-scale mechanical industrial complex. The Southeast Coastal Heavy Chemical Industrial Complex which connects the areas of Ulsan, Busan, Masan and Sacheon is situated here. Together with the Masan Free-Trade Zone, the industrial complex serves a pivotal role in industrial development of the central regions of Gyeongsangnam-do.

Incheon was promoted to a city under direct government supervision on July 1, 1981. On January 1,1989, Gyeyang-myeon of Gimpo-gun County and other districts of Gyeonggi-do Province, including Yeongjong-myeon and Yongyu-myeon of Ongjin-gun County were merged into the city. Incheon was then changed to a metropolitan city on January 1, 1995. On the following March 1, the entire area of Ganghwa-gun County and Ongjin-gun County as well as Geomdan-myeon of Gimpo-gun County was added to the Incheon Metropolitan City. Incheon is now rapidly developing into the third largest city in Korea, with Seoul and Busan being the first and the second largest, respectively.

3.Your Original Degree (BA/BS degree of Higher) or Notarized copy of your degree (Notarization must be done by a Korean consulate. So you have to notarize the original degree at a Notary of the public first and send it to it the Korean Consulate to notarize it again with their seal)
4.2 original copies of sealed and enveloped university transcript that is stamped or signed by university. (Must not be opened)
5.A clear copy of the information page of your passport
6.Any original or notarized copies of relevant certificates (TEFL,TESL,TESOL,CELTA)
- Eg. if you have a TESOL certificate, the training hours have to be stated on the certificate, otherwise a letter to proof that you did more than 100 hours of training must be submitted)
7.An official and original criminal record check (from the Department of Justice or from Police Station)
- All Public Schools require a criminal record check and most take 2~3 weeks so please apply for it ASAP.
8.An official medical certificate (You have to get a doctor’s signature and hospital’s stamp on the second form)
9.Two passport sized photos
10.Two reference letter with an official letterhead
11.Employment proof of previous or current employment (It should be more than 2 years experience if a teacher is level 1, If a teacher is level 2, one year experience employment proof would be fine).
12.Three signed copies of your employment contract (One is for you, one is for school and one is for immigration office)
- You must sign on every single page of 3 contracts.
