Overview

There are vacancies for qualified mother tongue/native level English teachers for our two schools in Anzio and Nettuno in the province of Rome, from September 2019 to June 2020. We offer a standard full/part time or freelance extendable and renewable contract based on the number of teaching hours per week. 

Centro Linguistico Hughes (CLH) is accredited by the Italian Ministry of Education (MIUR) as a language school. We are an approved Cambridge preparation centre and Pearson examination centre and teach children, teenagers and adults from CEFR A1 to C2 levels, including IELTS. Apart from the school, we also teach in the public schools, government intsitutions and companies. Our teachers are offered a free course to qualify as oral examiners. 

Candidates must be holders of a TEFL or equivalent certificate, preferably with classroom teaching experience. Teachers from abroad are offered free orientation and initial accommodation.

Anzio and Nettuno are twin cities on the Mediterranean coast of the Lazio region, about 50 kilometres south of Rome. The cities, with excellent beaches and harbours are linked to Rome by train and coaches and it’s less than an hour drive.
