Overview

Maple Bear is an immersion school that teaches students through hands-on, play based learning. FULL-TIME 
We are looking for energetic and resourceful full-time teachers for the new school year beginning in MARCH 2018. We have a great staff of native English teachers with Korean partner teachers to assist and team-teach. We are in Anyang, 45 minutes from downtown Seoul. We teach kindergarten and elementary children Monday to Friday, 30 teaching hours per week. Optional overtime if desired.

Experience and Education Degree is preferred.

Job requirements include: 
• Must have a passion for teaching, value teamwork, high energy, kind presence, and can bring fun into the classroom. 
• Must be a native English speaker with a passport from either the USA or Canada. 
• Must have a Bachelor Degree in Education. 
• Experience teaching young children preferred.

Qualifications: 
• Native English speaker 
• University Bachelor degree in Education 
• Clean National level criminal records check (CRC) 
• 1+ years teaching experience is preferred

Responsibilities: 
• Planning and following through with Maple Bear curriculum 
• Evaluating student progress and providing ongoing guidance for improvement 
• Participating in events with students and parents
