ARUN LANGUAGE TRAINING & RECRUITMENT IS NOW RECRUITING GRADUATES (ANY DISCIPLINE) TO TEACH ENGLISH AT SCHOOLS THROUGHOUT TAIWAN

Candidates for these teaching positions must have UK, US, Canadian, South African, Australian, New Zealand or Irish citizenship in order to obtain work visas for Taiwan.

Locations include: Taipei/New Taipei/Keelung/Tao Yuan/ZhongLi/ZhuBei/LouDong/Taichung/Kaohsiung/Tainan/TaiDong/PingDong/JiaY i/ChanHua

Requirements:

Either

US Associate's degree + TEFL certificate (or willing to obtain a TEFL certificate)

OR

Bachelor's degree (TEFL not required if Bachelor's degree)

Candidates must be able to show the original degree certificate. 
Candidates must be able to obtain a clean national criminal background check.

The school is looking for enthusiastic and dynamic graduates with a genuine love of working with children. 
Candidates must be flexible to work with children of all ages. 
The school teaching schedule is Monday-Saturday. 
Saturday teaching is required.

SALARY & BENEFITS

New teachers can start work within a few weeks of interviewing, with the school arranging the residence permit while in Taiwan. There are vacancies throughout the island. Taiwan is easy to enter and authentication of documents is not required prior to arrival.

Hourly Pay starting pay rate range of NT $620 – 680 / hour based on previous teaching qualifications Ceiling rate from NT $750 / hour to $800 / hour

Teaching Duties Stipend

• NT $3000 per month for class preparation work—e.g. for meetings, trainings, class preparation, etc.

First-year Contract Renewal Bonus

• Staff retention is an important priority. The purpose of this bonus is to encourage teachers to stay for a minimum of two years. (Contracts are for a year)

• NT $10,000 is paid in the 6th month of 2nd contract 
• NT$15,000 at the end of 24th month.

Approximate monthly income depending on hours worked

20 Hours Week = 49,880 NTD per month (approx. £1250 / $1660) 
25 Hours Week = 62,350 NTD per month (approx. £1550 / $2080) 
30 Hours Week = 74,820 NTD per month (approx. £1875 / $2500)

>Guaranteed hours - minimum 20 per week (average 26 per week) 
>10 days’ training is provided prior to start of work – accommodation and meals are provided during the training programme 
>Optional start up loan available and assistance finding housing
