Overview

We are Sesame Street English, a famous brand originating from the USA. We now are currently looking for English teachers to work with our students aged 3-12. This is our website: http://www.sesamestreetenglish.com/curriculum

Since our school is going to have more new branches in China, so we now are in need of many native English teachers who would like to come to China to work with us. As for the exact number, it should be around 1 two 2 for each branch. And for now, we are having around 180 branches in China, and around 50 new branches have been and will be opened soon.

This job offer includes competitive compensation consisting a base salary and bonus. The base salary is around 2,500 USD to 2,900 USD per month (after tax), while the bonus is around 500 USD to 1,000 USD per month. We will help you with the visa too. On average, you will need to spend 16 to 20 hours per week on teaching.

Job Descriptions:

1.The foreign teacher will teach English with a specially designed curriculum, including regular spoken English classes, English corner etc;

2.The students will be adults above sixteen from all walks of life;and we have children students as well,depends on what age group is the teacher capable of.

3.Good organization and teaching skills are a must;

4.Lesson plans should be designed for each unit on a regular basis;

5.Occasionally the teacher will take part in promotional activities;

6.The foreign teachers should have good teamwork spirit and the ability to follow the school management's rules.

7.The teacher will present assessment reports regularly.

Requirements:

1.Native English speakers aged at 20-40 with good accent;

2.One year or above teaching experience is preferred;

3.The candidate should be enthusiastic about teaching, conscientious, and patient with students;

4.Bachelor degree or above (TESOL or TEFL or equivalent is preferred but not required.);

5.The candidate should be able to fulfill a one-year contract;

Salary and Benefits:

1.Competitive salary USD 2500 to USD 2900 (Base) per month (depending on the experience of the applicant);

2. Monthly Bonus: USD 500 to 1000 USD

2.Compensation package will be included as below

● international airfare allowance RMB 5000 with completed one school year contract (reimbursed at the completion of your contract);

● health insurance;

● apartment is provided or apartment allowance

5.Other than the paid leaves, some paid national holidays can be included like New Year’s Day, National Day, Dragon Boat Day, Mid-Autumn Festival, Ancestors Day, Labor Day;

6.Work Visa, Residence permits, Foreign expert permit.

Employment Types:

1.Full time

2.The position requires a maximum of 40 working hours  (maximum of 20 teaching hours) with one or two days off per week, RMB150-200 per hour for overtime.
