Overview

Our school is an independent school, named 'Design4lifeenglish' it has been open for 2 years we need more employees to help the business grow further. I am looking for the right and qualified candidate to help us push the language school further in making this venture flourish. the school caters to 4-18-year old’s and teach business English and co-operate English. we do not facilitate in general English for adults. our mission here is to help students understand the complexity of English in listening, writing and comprehension with minimal L1 and be able to comprehend text as well as speech. Primarily we use Pearson products although our level 0 material is in-house. The school takes educational summer camp trips to the UK every summer. We are located in Tianjin, Teda an economic development area that is rather affluent. also, Teda is located near Tanggu, one of the oldest ports in China. if you have any questions or wish to apply please do not hesitate. The owner of the school is from London, England whose partner is a female from China. design4life is a cross venture business.

Teachers role and responsibilities is to be a professional minded person, who has the ability to bring an atmospheric element to class. able to deliver teaching material with ease and likability. it involves teaching level zero children ranging from 4-7 years old. then we use European framework modal to place students in corresponding class to start a course for that group. we use Pearson products for our level classes. The candidate does not need to have experience in teaching Pearson products as training will be given. The right candidate ideally needs to have 1-2 year’s experience, preferably had experience in China.

We have students engage in 'Topic Hour' where the teacher plans a topic, which they will need to prepare for and have students engage in the talk once week.

There will also be adult business VIP classes. experience in teaching business English is preferred. if the teacher has experience then there will be co-operate English classes.

A bachelor’s degree is a must. A native speaker.

Teaching experience with children and teens as well as business English for adults is preferred.

Lively, bright and likable. At the moment we have a small team, so the person will need to be able to adapt to its environment but will get support along the way.

Experience in Office is important to able to work effectively.

Teda, Tianjin, is a thriving economic development area which has grown rapidly over the last ten years. there are many affluent areas which brings beautiful places to shop and socialize. there is a big expat community area as teda has many foreign companies. as well as an international school located in the area. teda is an hour away by train to downtown. it’s near the port of Tanggu is one of the oldest ports in China.
