Academic Qualification: 
1. Minimum Bachelors’ degree in education or specific subject from a recognized institute of Higher Education

Fayston Preferences: 
 Native or near native fluency in English – you MUST be able to professionally facilitate a class in excellent English 
 Minimum 1 year of full-time teaching, preferably in a school setting 
(not a private academy – hagwon, or 1:1 tutoring) 
 Christian 
 Teacher certification; Master’s or higher degrees in education or subject-related areas 
 Bilingual

Professional Skills: 
- Communicate, teach, and deliver content fluently and effectively in English (oral and written) 
- High-level organizational and planning skills, including document creation, effective management of electronic and paper files 
- Detail oriented with ability to manage a variety of classroom behavior and issues that may arise in a homeroom setting 
- Excellent interpersonal skills, be approachable and empathetic, open to giving and receiving feedback, and open to discussions during conflict management 
- Proven ability to work effectively with people from all cultures, religions, and backgrounds 
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team 
- Facilitation and teaching of subjects 
- Curriculum development/curriculum customization 
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, and database management

Responsibilities: (including but not limited to) 
1. Support the School’s Guiding Principles 
2. Teach American curriculum to students in English 
3. Communicate with faculty, students, and parents in a professional manner, providing accurate information about the School, classroom behavior, academic performance, and possible areas for improvement during official Parent Teacher conferences, and informal communication with parents 
4. Plan a thoughtful curriculum that is creative, not didactic, and informed by student centered methodology 
5. Develop and maintain student academic files, tests, curriculum 
6. Contribute thoughtful and relevant feedback on the School’s programs and curriculum 
7. Facilitate individual Parent Teacher Conference meetings, and ongoing class social media postings (Class Dojo, Kakao) 
8. Liaise effectively with other departments and teachers within the School 
9. Support the team as needed 
10. Maintain the highest level of confidentiality
