Overview

Established in 2007, The Activity Box runs two international preschools in Shanghai. China. Our students range in age from 16 months to 4 years and come from both local and expatriate communities.

We are currently looking for two teachers for our international preschool centre in Lujiazui district (Pudong). Starting date: End August 2018.

You will work as a teacher for two classes and will be team teaching with a Chinese teacher (who can converse in English). There will be about 15 kids in each class.

Work hours: Mondays to Fridays, 8.30 am to 5.30pm. This includes direct teaching hours as well as time given for preparation of class materials.

We are looking for teachers with a love for children. You should be able to read books to the entire class in a lively manner and know nursery songs and rhymes. You will also be dancing with the children during their music and movement classes.

Other requirements: 
a) Native English Speaker 
b) Bachelor's Degree 
c) Teaching Qualifications preferred 
d) Full-time work experience (2 years) preferred 
e) Must have documents authenticated for work visa application (our HR personnel will guide you through this process)

Salary: 15000 to 20000 RMB/month (2200 to 2900 USD) depending on your qualifications and experience. A work visa will be provided.

(c) Holidays: We have one week of paid leave over Christmas and the New Year and another week off in early July as well as the Chinese national holidays.
