Early Childhood Educator

About us:

i.LEAP is a new early childhood education center that is dedicated to guiding children's learning based on the Reggio Emilia belief that the teacher and child should be learning partners who explore the child's curiosities together. Located in Hangzhou, China, i.LEAP works in collaboration with Saplings Outdoor Program and TeachFuture to provide high quality, innovative education for young learners.

*Responsibilities:

• Teach children, 3-6 years old
• Work 40 hours per week (including approx. 10 office hours), with 2 days off
• Co-create activities, and projects
• Manage classroom environments with excellent discipline
• Guide and assist children with their studies
• Accommodate the individual learning needs of each student
• Ensure the safety and well being of all children
• Implement our teaching methods, inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach
• Develop strong relationships with children and parents
• Perform teaching duties with enthusiasm and passion
• Have a positive attitude towards teaching in a play based, student-led environment
• Attend staff and parent meetings

*Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree or above（in any discipline), or an ECE Diploma
• Either a TEFL/TESOL certificate, or an Early childhood education certificate
• One year teaching experience would be an asset
• Passionate and patient with kids
• Be a passport holder from one of the following countries: UK, South Africa, USA, Canada, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand (For Z visa)
• Arrival time: before September 2018

*Salary & Benefits Package:

• Salary: 12,000-20,000 RMB per month (based on qualifications)
• 40 hours per week (includes approx. 10 office hours), with 2 days off
