Overview
Hefei (Chinese: 合肥) is the capital and largest city of Anhui Province in China. A prefecture-level city, it is the political, economic, and cultural center of Anhui. Hefei is located 130 kilometres (81 mi) west of Nanjing in south-central Anhui. Chao Lake, a lake 15 km (9 mi) southeast of the city, is one of the largest fresh water lakes in China. Hefei was identified by The Economist in December 2012 as the world's No.1 fastest growing metropolitan economy. The City is very well connected by Metro, Busses, the bullet train and an international airport.
Hefei Primary School is proud to be part of the Anhui Teaching Exchange Program (ATE) and therefore complies with all national requirements for foreign teachers, as set out by the Anhui Provincial Administration of Foreign Expert Affairs.
The ATE program is sponsored by the following Anhui Provincial Government departments:

This P.R.C Anhui Provincial Government sponsored initiative, Anhui Teaching Exchange has been set up in response to directives from The Central Education Ministry in Beijing. These central Government edicts require improvements, modernisation and the implementation of international standards in foreign teacher employment throughout China. It additionally aims to promote internationalisation in Anhui’s local communities by helping to improve foreign language education and developing international exchange at the community level.
Monthly salary: 11,500 - 14,500rmb (Depending on experience)
Flight allowance: 7000rmb
