Overview
University: Xiamen University Tan Kah Kee College
Students: Undergraduate
Contract Period: 1 school year with 2 semesters, 11 months
Workload: 32 teaching weeks, with ____ average teaching hours per week (depends)
(1 teaching hour = 45 minutes)
Work Time: Mon.-Fri.
Holidays: 1-month summer or winter vacation, 1-week spring break, 1-week autumn break and other public legal holidays
Position: Faculty in English Language Dept. (for English majors) and Foreign Languages Dept. (for non-English majors)
Description:
The job includes designing course and syllabus, delivering lectures, correcting homework, preparing and grading examination papers, tutoring and counseling students, etc.
Capable of delivering courses: Oral English, Audio-visual English, English Writing, Survey of English Speaking Countries, Western Civilization, Modern Western History, etc.
Annual Salary: commensurate with experience
Qualifications:
● Degree: Master or PhD
● Native English speaker from UK, USA, Canada, New Zealand, Australia,
South Africa.
● At least 2 years teaching experiences (at universities or colleges preferable)
● A clear background check
● Degree authentication
● In good health and under the age of 60

About Xiamen University Tan Kah Kee College:
The college was jointly established by Xiamen University and Xiamen Tan Kah Kee Educational Development Co. in 2003. It was named after Mr. Tan Kah Kee, the founder of Xiamen University and a famous patriotic overseas Chinese leader.
Xiamen University, founded in 1921, is recognized as a first-class national institution of higher education, ranks among the top 20 of the over 2,000 universities and colleges in China and enjoys privileged support from both the national ¡°211 Project¡± and the ¡°985 Project¡±. It has co-established 15 Confucius Institutes with universities in North America, Europe, and Africa.
The college is located on Zhangzhou Campus, covering an area of around 1.1 million square meters. It is surrounded by hills with access to the sea and faces Xiamen University's Siming Campus across the Xiamen Bay.
The college now has a total enrollment of over 18559 full-time undergraduates on campus majoring in 50 programs. There are currently around 20 faculty members from USA, Japan, New Zealand, Australia, Canada, UK and Singapore. The college has established collaborative relationship with 24 foreign universities and 4 Taiwan universities so far.
