About the Job

Overview

ILSS is a well-established language school in Bari offering a range of courses, extensive and customized to meet the needs of all. The unique teaching and learning approach is achieved by adapting to their students and their needs. All courses are taught by qualified native English teachers using innovative methodologies.

Teachers must be committed to delivering high quality lessons to young children, teenagers and adults at any linguistic level and have excellent knowledge of the Trinity and Cambridge University exams.

Areas in which teachers will be involved include the following:
• General English (adults)
• General English (children)
• Group lessons
• Examination classes
• One to one lessons, ESP/Business English

Working days are Monday to Saturday. Average teaching hours: 25 hours per week

Qualifications/Requirements:
Candidates must be a native speaker of English and have
- a minimum 2 years’ teaching experience
- have a university degree
- experience teaching young learners and exam preparation courses for Cambridge and Trinity exams.

Personal qualities:
- self-motivated and dynamic
- ability to work as part of a team
- a flexible and willing approach to the various duties
- an interest in professional development ·
· Native speaker of English
· BA degree
· CELTA/Trinity TESOL

Salary/Benefits:
Teachers are hired on a fixed-term contract for the academic year (September 2018 to the end of May 2019)
- Guaranteed net salary of €1100 per month
- Health insurance
- Holiday and sick pay
- Flight to Bari provided by the school
- National and Local Holidays amounting to around 25 days.
- Guaranteed net salary of €1100 per month
