About the Job

Overview

English and MEP subject teachers to teach at elementary and high schools in Bangkok.

We have vacancies for native speakers and near fluent non-native speakers with passports from European countries to teach English and MEP subjects - maths, science, health and P.E. at schools in central Bangkok and the surrounding suburbs.

The hours of work are Monday to Friday, 07.30 to 16.00.

All jobs are teaching 20-22 contact periods per week (often fewer) and any periods taught covering for absent teachers are paid extra.

The contracts run from May 2018 through to March 2019.
The salaries are up to 36,000 baht a month depending on nationality, qualifications, experience and the subject taught. All teachers qualify for an attendance/completion bonus of 2,000 baht per month that accumulates and is paid in a lump sum at the end of the contract in March 2019.

Two days of orientation and preparation will take place at selected schools in early May.

Teachers receive full support from our school coordinators backed up by our academic staff.

Assistance can be given to secure local accommodation if required.

Global Education will obtain teacher licensees, or waivers, and work permits are provided.
Assistance is given to obtain subsidized accident insurance when the work permit is granted.

Applicants must have a degree and while an English language teaching qualification, such as TEFL, TESOL or CELTA and teaching experience is preferred, equal importance is placed on a good attitude and a positive approach to teaching in Thailand.
