Overview

Part-time English and/or IELTS Instructor needed

Hawthorn Muscat English Language Centre, located in Qurum, actively maintains a pool of qualified English language instructors to be selected on an as-needed basis to fulfill part-time teaching needs.

We are therefore seeking native English speakers to deliver quality classes to our adult students. Assignments may include day and/or evening classes, as well as private tutoring.

Requirements:

  • Native English speaker with extensive English language teaching experience at different levels (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced)
  • CELTA or other ESL Teaching Certification and/or a relevant college degree in English, Education or TESOL
  • Enthusiastic, professional and dependable
  • Preferably based in the Muscat area
  • Must have a valid visa/residency in Oman
  • Previous IELTS Training experience is a big plus
