Currently seeking candidates to fill the following roles: Teacher, Senior Teacher (starting management role), Director of Studies (lead management role), and a Marketing manager.

Nanjing is the provincial capital of Jiangsu, one of China's most prosperous provinces. Nanjing is situated on the south bank of the Yangtze River and is a large modern Chinese city, which displays many of the traits of old and new China.

The city has twice served as the capital of China and there are many attractions throughout Nanjing where you can get a feel for China’s rich history. Today, Nanjing mixes the old and the new, offering a chance to enjoy traditional Chinese customs and culture side by side with many of the comforts of a modern International city.

The city is also home to a large foreign student population, who attend the cities renowned universities, plus a wealth of foreign trade companies. This has resulted in the city boasting many international restaurants and an active nightlife.

Nanjing has excellent transport links with other cities in the region, such as Shanghai (1.5 hours), Suzhou (1 hour), and Hangzhou (2 hours).

Education First stands as a proud and well-established member of the global EF community. Our first school opened in 2002 and since then we’ve been growing rapidly. We now have 6 schools in our city (with 3 more planned to open in 2018) with more than 40 full time native English teachers and over 5,000 students studying with us in Nanjing.

Due to our continuous expansion, we are looking to enlarge our team. We need qualified and experienced teachers to join our professional and hardworking team. You will be part of a team of committed teachers who can add value to the school in many ways. At this time, we are looking for teachers to start after April, preferably in April and May. 

We teach a variety of classes from 3 years old up to 18 years old and we like our teachers to have the flexibility to teach across this age range.

We work a maximum of 20 hours per week in the classroom during the off-peak seasons (most only teach 14-17) during which we have two days off per week. During the peak seasons, 4 weeks in winter and 8 weeks in summer, we work 26 hours per week in the classroom with one day off per week.

· Total monthly package value of 15,800RMB -20,000RMB dependent on qualifications, role, and experience
· Accommodation assistance in finding a Western style, furnished apartment, near the school
· Flight allowance: 10,000RMB: 4000RMB payable after 6 months, 4000RMB after 12 months and the rest by the end of contract
· Potential salary increases based on performance.
