Job Skills Required:
• CELTA/Trinity TESOL certified. Postgraduate qualification preferred
• 2+ years of teaching experience. Experience in education management preferred.
• Native or Bilingual speaker of English (IELTS equivalent 8.0)
• Highly organized
• Inspiring to students, faculty, and staff
• Passionate about the profession of teaching and mentoring others
• Culturally sensitive and empathetic
• Able to work within a fast-paced environment and adapt accordingly
• Positive, flexible attitude
• Excellent communicator, public speaker
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Job Duties:
• Teach up to 20 hours per week.
• Participate in up to 10 hours per week of professional development, class observation, presentations, student activities, and informal “English corners.”
• Execute the Academic English curriculum as prescribed by University of Technology, Sydney (UTS) Insearch. Execute grading for class’s level group to be verified by UTS.
• Oversee weekly testing, formal examinations and guiding learners through both academic essays and formal presentations.
• Meet all marking deadlines
• Ensure students are aware of cultural differences to be expected upon transfer to Western universities.
Salary and Benefits:
• 15000-18000 RMB/month in Guangzhou and Nanchang; 18000-20000 RMB/month in Beijing

2. Director of Studies/Academic Head in Guangzhou
EIC Academy requires a highly-qualified Director of Studies to lead its teaching team. The Director of Studies will be responsible for all aspects of teachers' professional development, including holding regular training sessions, classroom observations, and feedback sessions. The Director of Studies will also lead and mentor a national team of Academic Coordinators who will report directly to her/him.

Job Duties:
Teaching/Training Duties
• Teach up to 10 hours per week, substitute for teachers on leave if necessary
• Develop and execute training modules for on-boarding and in-house teacher training
• Co-plan lessons with new teachers and give feedback
• Mentor and familiarize new teachers on curricula and expectations from our partners
• Observe classes and give teachers regular feedback
• Assist in organizing activities for students
• Manage and Mentor Academic Coordinator and Senior Teachers
Administrative Duties
• Interview potential teachers for Guangzhou and Kunming campuses
• Organize and host staff meetings and professional development sessions
• Participate in monthly meetings with University of Technology, Sydney (UTS)
• Assist in scheduling teachers for courses
• Make regular visits to EIC Academy’s Guangzhou campuses to meet with teachers and staff
• Communicate and deliver regular reports to campus Principal, Academic Director, and other management staff
Marketing Duties
• Be available to give demonstration lessons, participate at “open houses,” give interviews, and make presentations to parents, students, or potential partners
Salary and Benefits (Guangzhou):
• 18000-23000 RMB/month
