About the Job

Overview

Inlingua Ciudad Real is born to meet the needs of language training, mainly English, French and German. It develops its activity in the world of private enterprise, institutions, business and professional organizations, business schools and faculties, and imparts courses of professional and academic character to particular students, in small groups and private classes with a wide catalog of services.

We are looking for an enthusiastic English teacher to join us for the upcoming school year in September 2017.

Qualifications
The successful candidate will have a degree and/or a TEFL certificate(or equivalent) and previous experience in teaching of at least 1 year in General English, Adults, Teenagers, Children and YLs. Experience teaching pre-schoolers and preparing students for the Cambridge English exams will be highly valuable.

Other requirements
Recommendation letter required, along with 2 valid references (will be confirmed) and a criminal record report (you will be working with small children ages 4-7)

We are a language academy in Ciudad Real that specializes in teaching English to children, teenagers and adults. We offer general English and exam preparation classes for Cambridge, TOEIC, TOEFL, IELTS, and TRINITY (to name a few), from B1 to C2. We have a group of fantastic and highly motivated teachers who form a very close-knit team.

If you are an educated, motivated, dependable and highly proficient teacher, have excellent verbal skills, and are dedicated to helping our Language learners overcome their communication barriers and meet our requirements, then we are looking for you!

We have 1 teaching position available from January 2017 to June 2018.

As well as having a good command of English and the relevant qualifications, you will need to show evidence of the following:

  • Good planning and organization skills
  • The ability to work under pressure
  • Flexible and adaptable teaching style
  • Creative skills and ideas for planning practical and interesting lessons
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills
  • Effective listening skills
  • And above all, sensitivity, tolerance and patience

Teaching hours are from Monday to Friday. So applicants MUST be available and prepared to work a shift at any point during these hours. The average working week is 20-25 teaching hours (not including prep/evaluations/exam marking /admin/ staff meeting times).Upon selection to continue the interview process, you will then be given conditions, salary and job responsibilities.
