Positions

South Korea Private Language School Instructor- Immediate and throughout the year
Generally speaking, instructors in private language schools teach students how to put the English vocabulary and grammar knowledge they already have into practice; they teach the students how to communicate. Students range in age from about 9 years old elementary students to 16 year old high school students. In addition to teaching communication and conversation classes, instructors often teach test preparation classes, business English classes, and/or writing classes as well. The main draws of this type of position are the enthusiasm of the students, the lifestyle afforded by the salary and work hours (on average instructors work from approximately 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM at night), and the chance to work among a diverse group of instructors from all over the English-speaking world. Our primary client is one of the largest, most professional, and prestigious private language institutes in South Korea.
South Korea Public School Positions- End of August start dates
English Teaching Assistants work in public schools alongside a regular Korean teacher of English. Their role is to help plan and execute language lessons to students in primary and secondary schools. Additionally, they are often called upon to run English conversation and communication classes for the Korean faculty at their school. English teaching assistants work regular public school hours and truly become part of the school faculty. Working as an English assistant is an outstanding way to experience actual Korean life and culture, to become part of the local community, and to make a difference in the lives of students and co-workers. Of course, there are also plenty of opportunities to network with other English Teaching Assistants in your area – you will not be alone. This is a government-operated program.

China Private School Positions- Start dates throughout the year
Why not be in Beijing in time for the Olympics? There are 50 other cities where you could teach English as well. English teachers have the chance to teach a wide range of students. Adult students are typically professionals over the 22 years of age and young learners range from 6-18 years old. Classes are taught in state-of-the-art language schools with language labs, student and teacher lounges, all in a comfortable and welcoming learning environment. You will receive initial training, as well as guidance, structured feedback and performance appraisals throughout a contract. The standard package also includes help and support throughout the year whether that is practical advice on living in the country, being part of a network of other professional teachers or help with traveling within a country where you can experience 5000 years of history!

Japan Assistant Language Teachers- Start dates throughout the year
The land of the rising sun is a contrast between the old and the new. You have probably heard that said before but now is the time to come and experience it at one of the many schools and institutions that Aclipse has partnered with in Japan. We are looking for motivated, able, English speaking instructors for a variety of positions. Assistant Language Teacher (ALT) positions are available in public junior high, elementary schools and kindergartens across Japan. In some cases you will be able to specialize in one type of class and students, while in others you will get experience with all lessons.
