Core Teacher and EAL Roles available at International Kindergarten. 14,000rmb to 18,000rmb per month in Deyang, China

We are currently looking for Core Teachers for our International Kindergarten. We use ideas from IB (International Baccalaureate) as well as Reggio Emilia to teach our children. While we use a variation of the project/inquiry teaching approach, the main aim is to help the children learn in various ways and to use English in their daily lives.

We offer 40 hours a week work week in a custom-built school, specially designed to support teachers and children in learning together. Classes are typically 15 to 20 children, with 2 Chinese assistants per class. This is NOT an EAL role, so you would be in a class with the same children all day. The aim of the class and school is to combine Western teaching styles and philosophies with Chinese culture and teaching.

Responsibilities: 
-Plan and carry out teaching for the class 
-Support teacher development in your class, helping the teachers learn about teaching in an international style. 
-Record and communicate children's development and progress with the school and with parents (Chinese teachers would assist in this)

We offer: 
-14,000rmb to 18,000rmb per month, based on qualification and experience.

-Chinese assistant to help you with daily issues that arise 
-Training and support in using the curriculum and teaching styles 
-Z-type work permit

You must have: 
-A bachelor’s degree in teaching from an English-speaking country 
-A minimum of 2 years teaching experience 
-You must be able to pass a criminal check and a health check (Visa requirements)

The school is located in Deyang, Sichuan Province (30 minutes train journey from the city of Chengdu). We do not use an agency, and we are fully licensed to hire foreign teaching staff.
