Overview

Join us in beautiful Mexico! We are a small international school located in the Puebla district of Mexico. Currently, we have vacancies for elementary and middle school teachers who are available to start during the first week of January. The elementary and middle school are two separate campuses, both made up of dedicated, caring and supportive staff. We will be with you each step of the way for whatever you may need in Mexico! Teachers will be expected to maintain a professional demeanour at all times and complete the necessary paperwork (sometimes a lot) within the required timeframe, there is a lot of time during the day for these tasks and ongoing support and training is available. The school follows an International Baccalaureate curriculum and all teaching resources are provided (including the use of school laptops and ipads while on campus.

Responsibilities:

-Teaching 3 - 4 hours per day (Monday - Friday)
-Be on campus between 7am - 3pm Monday - Friday
-Complete lesson plans on a weekly basis
-Complete bimester plans every two months
-Be available for meetings and school activities (during school hours)

Requirements:

-Available from the 4th of January
-Experience with children or teenagers
-A love of teaching -Great organisation
-Teaching certificate (would consider experience over a qualification)
-Flexibility
-Team player

What we offer:

-6 month contract (possibility of renewal)
-Fulltime (3-4 hours teaching per day + planning)
-Accommodation with utilities and a cleaner
-Transportation costs to and from school
-Spanish classes
-Liveable stipend equivalent to the salary of a local teacher ($6,500MXN)
