Academic/Business English Teachers Needed in Tianjin, China

Overview

We have vacancies for native English speakers to join a team of four instructors teaching university freshman students. The program consists of business foundations and university preparation. We have one position to start March 1st, 2018 with the option of a 4.5 month or a 16.5 month contract. There will be another position beginning October 1st, 2018 on a 9.5 month contract.

The students are preparing to study in a Bachelor of Business program which is delivered entirely in English. The learning materials will be prepared but you certainly have freedom to enhance them as you see fit.

You will have a lot free time to do other things in this position so it is perfect for someone who wants to study by distance (one teacher just completed a Masters degree in TESOL as a full time student by distance), find another job on the side or work on your Chinese.

The location is TEDA - which has a large variety of Western bars/pubs, grocery stores with almost all of your essentials and is about an hour from Beijing South on the fast train.

On offer: 
Salary: 10,000 rmb/month 
Hours: 18 class hours/week (45 min lessons) - no weekends and no evenings 
Holidays: winter holiday (5-6 weeks) will be paid with full salary and half salary for summer holiday (if on a 16.5 month contract) 
Housing: provided and free 
Completion bonus: One month's salary will be paid on completion in July, 2019 (Note - there is no completion bonus for July, 2018)

Requirements: 
Age: below 60 
Nationality: must be native English speaker from US, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand 
Education: at least Bachelor level and a TESOL/TEFL etc certificate 
Experience: prefer at least one year
