About the Job
Overview
The North Station specialises in delivering dynamic and engaging lessons to English language learners, and has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, development-focused English language teacher to join our dynamic team. This full-time position is well suited to teachers who enjoy working with a wide range of learner levels and types as well as developing together with their peers as part of a structured training and development programme.
Based in Zaragoza, you will work closely with learners, helping them develop their abilities in all skills and systems, both in the traditional and online classrooms. You will also take part in our structured teacher training and development programme which aims to help teachers in:
Building strong rapport with learners
Establishing relevant development goals
Using feedback in order to improve as a teacher
Trying out new methods, approaches and techniques in the classroom
Meeting the needs of learners through differentiation.

Salary and benefits
Between 1040 - 1080 euros gross for 20-hour (weekly) contract

Requirements
As an English language teacher at the North Station, your responsibilities and duties will include:
Delivering dynamic and engaging lessons to very young learners, young learners, teens and adults
Preparing learners for Cambridge exams, from Starters to Proficiency
Having a reflective attitude - taking on feedback to improve
Receiving positive feedback from the majority of students
Having clear communicative aims and success criteria where appropriate in class
Moving away from teacher-led to student-led classes
Using a wide range of methods, approaches and techniques in order to teach very young learner, young learner, teen and adult classes
We at the North Station Academy are looking for teachers who meet the following criteria:
Highly proficient user of English
Celta, CertTESOL or equivalent minimum (Delta, DipTESOL or MA TESOL desirable)
Minimum one year of teaching experience
Located in Zaragoza or able to relocate
Able to work in the EU
Development-focused
A strong desire to learn
