About the Job
Overview
ALBA is seeking enthusiastic, online part-time ESL teachers for our Online Weekend ESL program on Saturdays and Sundays.
Job Details:
1.) Our class times run on Saturdays and Sundays in three sessions: 9am-11am, 12pm-2pm and 3pm-5pm. (Classes are in local Myanmar time)
2.) Students' ages range from 5-16 years old depending on the class being taught. (There are multiple class ranges during each session)
3.) Class sizes can range from 15-20 students. (Most around 18)
4.) Teachers can choose which sessions they would like to teach and how many sessions they would like to teach. (This can depend on class availability)
Requirements:
1.) A native English speaker. (No specific nationality required)
2.) A bachelor's degree in any background.
3.) Two years teaching experience required. (1 year experience can still apply)
4.) Experience with online teaching or platforms such as Zoom and Google Classroom preferred.
Job Offer:
1.) Pay starts at $22 per hour.
2.) ALBA pays teachers an additional 30 minutes of pay per session taught, for prep work, marking, homework and report cards.
