Conversational English Teachers for Fall Openings for Hungary

The Central European Teaching Program has the following conversational English openings for fall:

1. An elementary in Szazhalombatta, a small city on an island in the middle of teh Danube and only 20 minutes by light rail into the heart of Budapest.
2. A parochial elementary in beautiful, large city of Debrecen in eastern Hungary and with great rail connection to Budapest and points in all directions. 
3. An elementary in Cegled, a nice community in central Hungary and with good train service to Budapest. 
4. A split position between 3 elementary schools in the beautiful university city of Szeged in southern Hungary, again with great train service. We have 3 teachers in this special ESL program. The fee is reduced to $1200 but the teaching hours are the same.
5. 5. An elementary in the small eastern Hungarian city of Nyirbator close to the Romanian border.

Our teachers must be native-English speakers and have earned a bachelor’s degree plus TEFL certification. All applicants must be citizens of countries that have teaching reciprocity agreements with Hungary: The US, Canada, the UK and the EU—no exceptions!

CETP is the oldest and most significant organization placing ESL teachers in Hungary. Currently we serve 100+ schools throughout the country. 

For our remaining openings, if you can arrive in time for orientation beginning the last week of August in Budapest, the program fee remains $1900. If you arrive after orientation (as early in September as you are able) the fee is reduced to $1500.

 I assure you this is NOT a placement fee. We are a full-service organization providing: all EU residence and work permits to teach in Hungary, documentation to allow you entry into Hungary during the pandemic, Covid testing and brief quarantine arranged while awaiting test results. As part of your salary package, you receive private, fully-furnished apartment with utilities paid, medical insurance, national Hungarian teachers’ salary,wonderful in-country director available 24/7, Facebook page for travel and teaching tips, plus personal, attentive service throughout. And because you will have your Hungarian income tax waived by coming through CETP, you will save more than the amount of the reduced program fee itself.
