Additional Information

British Council Thailand is a large operation consisting of six Teaching Centres and a growing number of Partner School operations. Our main office is based in Siam Square, Bangkok with locations spread out across the Bangkok metropolitan area and around Chiang Mai.
We have about 4,500 young learners studying in our Teaching Centres, with an approximate 50/50 split between Primary (aged 6-11) and Secondary (12-18). We deliver Primary Plus and Secondary Success courses with the aim of developing confidence and ability in English whilst considering children’s development into well-rounded and expressive individuals
We also have 2,500 adult learners at our Teaching Centres, with an approximate 80/20 split between myClass and other adult courses such as IELTS Preparation. myClass allows students to take control of their learning by choosing content relevant to their learning needs as well as the time and location of their classes. Most students are aged from 18-34 and need to develop their communicative competence and proficiency.
In addition to courses run at our own centres, the British Council works with approximately 3,000 learners at local schools, kindergartens and universities, with many of our managers, instructors and teaching assistants being based at offices sited at these locations. There are currently eight Partner School operations, four in Bangkok and four in Chiang Mai.
