Job Description

• Job title: English Teacher
• Teaching  students aged 2 – 9 years old
• Class size: 6 students per class
• Class length: 40 minutes
• 5 day work week with 2 days off
• Contract Hours: 35 a week (20 teaching hours and 15 hours for lesson planning and non-teaching work)
• Weekly schedule: weekday afternoons (14:00 - 21:00) & weekends (09:00 - 18:00), with 2 weekdays off
• Depending on your time, you may be asked to provide a limited number of demonstration classes to potential customers, as well as to bring your energy and ideas to PBL classes
• Plan lessons of a high standard
• Participate in ongoing academic training sessions and workshops

 

You will be provided with:

Salary and Benefits

• Base salary from 17,000RMB+ ($2,400+) per month
• Housing allowance
• Achievable bonus structure (demo, retention, student & teacher referral)
• Sign-in bonus of 6000RMB
• Contract Completion Bonus up to 15,000RMB
• Annual flight allowance of 6000RMB

Requirements

• Native English speakers from the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand or South Africa. (For visa purposes)
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher
• TEFL / TESOL certificate is preferred, but not required
• Non-criminal record / police clearance
• Teaching experience is preferred, but not required
