Amerlish is an American style English training center located in Beijing, China. As the name suggests, we mainly teach English in a neutral American accent. Besides, our company use all-American business model, and most of our current teachers are from America (About 90%). Since 2014, we have been teaching English through literature and culture with great success.

2. Salary Package
Salary Total up to 23,000 ~ 30,000 per month. We would like to be honest and make everything up front; your salary package will be dividing into several parts below:
a) Basic Salary: 16,000-23,000 CNY per month, based on experience, qualifications, and length of contract
b) Housing Stipend: 3,000 CNY monthly housing stipend
c) Food Stipend: 300 CNY monthly food stipend addition (15 RMB per work day)
d) Bonuses: Class Bonuses Up to 4,200 CNY per month and All of our teachers are on the same bonus plan

3. Other Benefits
a) Visa: Sponsored legal teaching Z visa (which allow you teach in China legally)
b) Flight and Arrival: We will buy you the ticket to Beijing, pick you up at the airport upon arrival, and provide free temporary accommodation in private room upon arrival as well as assistance finding an apartment.
c) Health Insurance: Assisted (Amerlish pays half), insurance allows for medical care at international hospitals with English service and no personal pay up front
d) Vacation: 15 Chinese holidays plus Christmas (1 day); 5~7 paid annual leave days.

4. English Teacher Job Description
a) Class Sizes: 10~12 students maximum
b) Student Age: 3 ~ 12 years old
c) Workload: 5 days a week, maximum 40 working hours including 25 teaching hours. Typical working Hours: Wed. to Fri. 1:30pm to 8:30pm; Sat. & Sun.: 9:00am to 6pm
d) Training and Support: Full orientation and training upon arrival and continued trainings and assistance throughout contract. Curriculum and Class training monthly, Chinese academic counselor¡¡¥s help in and out of class; membership in TESOL international
e) Curriculum: Teach proprietary Amerlish curriculum (Language & Culture Program), which follows the U.S. Common Core State Standards (Level 1 to level 4, 3-8-year-old kids; curriculum begins CCSS with kindergarten-aged students)

5. Curriculum Developer Job Description
Amerlish is actively developing its own English language curriculum based on CCSS and Chinese elementary school English standards. Using culture and literature, Amerlish curriculum teaches language skills in addition to leadership and social skills. A curriculum developer with Amerlish helps create materials for this proprietary curriculum. Under the direction of Amerlish Chief Academic Officer, curriculum developers will help plan curriculum materials, write children¡¡¥s stories, and design worksheets and assessments for students, ages 5-12 (equivalent to American kindergarten through sixth grade).
As a full-time part of the curriculum team, curriculum developers may manage specific curriculum projects overseeing timelines and assignments of interns, contractors, and other members of the development team. They will ensure projects are completed on time and on budget in a professional and quality manner. Curriculum developers may also teach up to two classes at an Amerlish school during their contracts allowing them to interact with the students and understand how curriculum and materials are used in the classroom. They may also be asked to substitute for teachers who fall ill or are on vacation. The first half of the year will be asked to substitute to teach the classes.

a) Education: Bachelor Degree or higher
b) Certification: TESOL or TEFL certification (Amerlish TESOL sponsorship available), or majored in Education / Teaching / Language Arts / ESL, or a teacher¡¡¥s license and certification in the U.S., Canada, Australia, U.K., Ireland, South Africa, or New Zealand

Head Teacher Job Description:
The Head Teacher reports to the General Academic Supervisor. S/he is responsible for managing their school location to ensure it is operating smoothly and effectively through the maintenance of academic quality and facilitation of teacher excellence at their respective location. The Head Teacher will work closely with the Location Manager on a day-to-day basis to make sure the school location meets Amerlish¡¡¥s academic standards. Their responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Conducting trainings for new and current teaching staff
• Mentoring current teaching staff to effectively implement Amerlish curriculum and teaching high-quality classes that are in line with Amerlish teaching standards
• Ensuring their school location has the proper materials needed
• Following through with the academic action plan initiated by the General Academic Supervisor to the teaching team
• Aid in conducting and planning events with the Location Manager and the Marketing and Sales Department.
• Conducting interviews for English language ability for potential Academic Counselors
• Attending monthly meetings with all Location Head Teachers and the General Academic Supervisor
• Acting as a buffer teacher for demos, assessments, and substitutions (limited to 10 hours per week)

Requirements:
1. Education: Bachelor¡¡¥s Degree or higher
2. At least 2 years¡¡¥ teaching experience
3. Certification: 120 hours OR above TESOL or TEFL certification (Amerlish TESOL sponsorship available), or majored in Education / Teaching / Language Arts / ESL, or a teacher¡¡¥s license and certification in the U.S., Canada, Australia, U.K., Ireland, South Africa, or New Zealand
4. Citizenship: To meet China's legal visa regulations, you must be a citizen from the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, or South Africa
5. Management experience is a bonus, but is not required, as you will be mentored into the position

6. Document Preparation for Visa
To help you get the legal teaching Z visa, we need you to provide the following documents. All documents must be translated into Mandarin and authenticated by appropriate government bodies. We will assist through this process and will reimburse you for visa document processing fees.
a) Clear background check from the state of residence for the last year or the FBI (must show a clean record)
b) College degree (bachelor degree or higher)
c) TESOL certification (If you are TESOL/ESL/Teaching major, you don¡¡¥t need to provide this. Amerlish TESOL sponsorship available)
d) In Good health (no translation needed)
