English Language Teacher and Senior Teacher
Who are we?
Link School of English is a growing language school which manages to retain its friendly atmosphere amongst staff and students. We are based in the desirable area of Ealing, west London, a wonderful place for students and staff alike. Our learners come from a range of diverse backgrounds - Europe, Asia, the Americas, and the Middle East. We only teach small groups of adult learners in order to guarantee learners the attention they require and deserve.
Who are we looking for?
Ideally, we are looking for teachers who are dedicated to ELT as a profession, and looking to enhance their career in the future. We would like to work with EFL professionals who value personal success, want to work in an organisation with high professional standards and ethics and want to contribute the the development of our school. Teachers who are willing to make a longer commitment in return for generous terms and a dedication to career development are welcomed. We would especially like to hear from teachers in and around the local area.
- English Teacher - CELTA or Delta-qualified
- Senior Teacher - Delta-qualified (or during the training)
We are happy to discuss part-time and full-time positions. Each position will require some evening or weekend work as well as weekday daytime.
OUR REQUIREMENTS
English Teacher:
- Essential: you must be CELTA or certTESOL qualified - online TESOL qualifications are not accepted
- Preferably, you will be educated to at least bachelor's level
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Reliability and punctuality are essential
- Positive personality and high work ethics
- Experience a plus but not a must, friendly personality (and a willingness to learn) are more important
Senior Teacher:
- Delta or Trinity Diploma holder (or during the training)
- Minimum bachelor's degree
- Minimum 5 years of teaching experience
- Teacher training and observation experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Reliability and punctuality are essential
- Positive personality and high work ethics
RESPONSIBILITIES
English Teacher:
- Teaching English to adults
- Lesson planning
- Giving feedback to students on their progress
- Creating friendly and supportive learning environment
Senior Teacher:
- Teaching English to adults
- Supporting less experienced teachers
- Lesson observations and feedback
- Maintaining friendly and supportive work and learning environment
- Monitoring students' progress
- Teacher training
- Course administration
