A very exciting opportunity has arisen! We have partnered with several Chinese educational institutes who seek to employ native English teachers for their schools in Tianjin, China. If you are a native English speaker with a desire to teach, travel and immerse yourself in a new culture while being fully supported by our community of experienced partners, then get in touch.
We are currently looking for enthusiastic kindergarten teachers who believe in inspiring children intellectually and socially. Teaching kindergarten includes planning, implementing and assessing lessons in a safe and structured setting. Kindergarten teacher duties include designing a teaching plan and using activities and instructional methods to motivate children.
Responsibilities
- Create and follow a complete teaching plan
- Introduce children to mathematics, language, science, and social studies
- Use play and hands-on teaching
- Teach letter recognition, phonics, numbers, and awareness of nature and science
- Read and stay abreast of current topics in education
- Organize learning material and resources
- Integrate competencies, goals, and objectives into lesson plans
- Use a variety of activities and instructional methods (songs, stories, media, structured games, art, outdoor activities, etc) to motivate and stimulate children’s abilities
- Work with program coordinators to ensure initiatives are being met
- Observe and evaluate student's performance
- Manage student behavior in the classroom
- Assess students’ performance and progress to ensure they are mastering the skills on a regular basis
- Monitor children’s interactions and nurture cooperation and sharing
- Cooperate with administration staff
- Follow and comply with teaching standards and safety regulations
- Collaborate with other teachers, parents, and stakeholders and participate in regular meetings
Candidate Profile:
- native English speaker
- University degree(the graduation date should be at least two years before the time of the application)
- Meet the working visa requirements (medical check, teaching experience and a clear criminal background check)
- University degree, clear criminal background check, TEFL should be verified at the Chinese embassy
- Willingness to live abroad for at least one year
- Willingness to work on teaching skills
- Positive attitude towards Chinese students and teachers
- Good communication skills
