About the Job
Overview
Bezmialem Vakif University, a medical university located in the historic district of Fatih in Istanbul, Turkey, is seeking 2 native English language instructors (preferably citizens of the USA, Canada, the UK, South Africa, Australia) to work in its Professional English for Medical Purposes (EMP) Program for the 2019-2020 academic year.
We are looking for instructors with the following qualifications ONLY:
- B.S / M.S. / M.D. degree in a health-related discipline such as Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Pharmacology, Nursing, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Language Pathology-Therapy, Audiology.
- CELTA / DELTA, TESOL or TEFL
- At least 2 years of English language teaching experience
- Strong work ethics and professionalism
- Good teamwork skills: being an effective group member is a must for this position.
In addition to general Medical English, having knowledge / teaching experience in 'Pharmacy Terminology' and 'Dentistry Terminology' is a reason for preference.
