Overview
Maple Foreign Language Training Center is seeking a foreign English teacher for a full time position in northern China.
About the City
Our school is located in the Chinese province of Inner Mongolia, in the city of Arongqi, in Hulunbeier County. Arongqi is a clean, safe place with a low cost of living and welcoming locals who very much appreciate foreign teachers who come to their city. It is a great place to escape the crowds, noise, and pollution of larger Chinese cities. Here you can experience slower paced Chinese life with a unique Mongolian flavor. Salary and Benefits
-1 year contract with option for renewal
-12,000RMB-15,000RMB depending on experience and qualifications.
-Z (work) visa entry visa and residence permit provided
-2 days off per week
-10 days paid vacation time per contract year + all national public Chinese
holidays
-5 days paid medical leave per contract year

-Airport Pickup upon arrival
-End of contract bonus equal to one month salary
-All lesson plans and materials provided

Duties
-Along with a Chinese teaching assistant, you will lead lessons, create lesson review videos for each lesson, keep track of student’s progress.
-You will be responsible for familiarizing yourself with lesson plans and materials and making sure you are ready to teach your lessons for each day.
-You will be required to attend regular staff meetings and participate in school activities outside of regular classes.
Classes and Students
-We have classes for students from kindergarten through middle school.
-Class sizes are between 5-12 students.
-Classes are either one hour or 80 minutes long, with a break halfway
through.
-Max. 40 hours per week
-Max. 20 teaching hours
-All classrooms are equipped with interactive teaching tools
-You will teach using music, dance, videos, and games
Requirements
-Applicants must be native English speakers
-4 year university degree required
-120 TEFL or TESOL certificate required
-Clean medical and criminal back round check required
-Experience not required
-Applicant must be adventurous and ready to experience life in China off
the beaten path!
