Our first campus in Changzhou, Jiangsu opened in 2016 is the provinces first early years school which provides a unique experience for playing and learning for children between the age of 1 to 6 years old. We believe that the best way for children to learn is by having fun doing it. The services we provide focuses on building memorable childhood experiences in a fun, educational and nurturing environment whereby the children are encouraged to learn, think, explore and play. All classes are conducted in English with the support of a teaching assistant mainly as a bridge of communication to the non-English speaking parents and children.
We provide an integrated learning curriculum in conjunction with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. This enables the parents to keep track of their childs development and helps in identifying weak areas that need further attention. In addition, the childs strengths can also be identified and nurtured to encourage further development as we believe personal attention is crucial in each childs development journey. For each of the five aspects, we have designed a series of classes that will be held over each day. The curriculum will be updated on a seasonal basis based on customers demands which will provide customers with a premium service and seamless education experience.
Parents are given flash updates by SMS on what activities their children are up to during the day. The play areas are designed by interior designers and architects from the United Kingdom therefore displaying a whole new exciting theme in China. Changzhou The City
Changzhou is a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of China's Jiangsu Province, a national historical and cultural city, located in southern Jiangsu, with a population of 3 million people. Changzhou is located in southern Jiangsu, just an hour train ride from Shanghai and also close to Nanjing and Hangzhou.
Main Responsibilities
o Maximum of 25 teaching hours per week
o Maximum of 15 admin hours per week
o Class sizes: 2 to 9 students (UK quality standards, low teacher to student ratio class size)
o Student ages: 1 to 6 years old
o 5 working days per week (Wednesday to Sunday from 9am to 6pm)
o Conducting the following types of classes: Music and Movement, Arts and Crafts, Cookery, English Corner, Speech and Drama.
o Have fun playing together with children in our world class British themed village play area designed in London
Compensation
o Highly competitive salary: 15,000 to 25,000 RMB per month depending on experience
o Paid return flight to visit home country once per year
o Airport pickup and 5 nights paid hotel reception upon arrival
o Premium standard accommodation provided within 10 to 15 minutes walking distance to the workplace (we secure the premise and location before your arrival)
o Yearly Bonuses up to RMB 10,000 depending on performance (key performance indicators)

Requirements
o Bachelor degree or above (preferably Early Years Education or Drama and Theatre related)
o TEFL certificate 120 hours plus preferred (No TEFL? We recommend INTESOL, www.GoldStarTeachers.com/INTESOL)
o Native English speaker from UK, US, Canada, New Zealand, Australia or Ireland
o 2 Years of relevant working experience with children required
o Clean criminal record check
o Passion for the development of children
o Energetic, friendly and hard working
