Pangaea International Education is an international education company located in Minnesota, U.S. that matches highly qualified teachers with reputable international schools in China. We are a third party recruiter and there is absolutely no fee to the applicants. We are currently recruiting several English as a Second Language (ESL) teachers to work at an English training school located in Zhanjiang city, Guangdong Province. Zhanjiang is a beautiful coastal city only three hours by train from Guangdong, the capital city.

Job Description
1. Full-time position; Five working days plus two days off (might be a week day plus one of the weekend days)
2. Work load: 26 contact teaching hours per week, plus an extra 4 hours of office hours which may include extracurricular activities
3. Students age: 3-12 yrs old
4. Class size: 10-20 students per class with another Chinese co-teacher
5. Contract starting date: one position is for an immediate start, and another four positions starting in Jan./Feb, 2020

Requirements
1. Teachers with energy, creativity and a passion for working in education and experiencing authentic Chinese culture
2. At least a Bachelor's degree
3. At least 1 year experience working with children as verified by references
4. An TEFL/TESOL/CELTA certificate (if you have an Education degree then this could be exempted)
5. Passport from a native English-speaking country as defined by Chinese Foreign Experts Bureau (i.e. USA, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, South African)
6. Understanding of teaching pedagogy and classroom management
7. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work successfully with both children and their families in China

Compensation
1. Monthly salary at 16,000RMB AFTER TAX, with an overtime pay of 150RMB per hour
2.10000 RMB of the total first month’s salary will be provided to the employee to help defray moving and initial life costs
3. Contract completion bonus of 6800RMB per year
4. Free furnished housing within easy commuting distance will be provided by the school, or teachers can get equivalent housing allowance to rent their own
5. Basic accidental health insurance
6. Four hours per week of free Mandarin as world language lessons will be provided by the school to all teachers
7. Paid holidays and sick leaves
8. Airfare reimbursed annually
9. Foreign expert certificate/Work Permit/Work visa
