Overview
Our partners at Zuoyebang have made an educational app. With its existence only spanning over five years, the growth of their platform has been exponential; with it being the fastest growing of its kind, yet. Kids complete their homework by uploading their assignments, and then, the app produces answers to said work rapidly, and in real time. The subjects which can be accessed through the app include, but are not limited to, Maths/Science/English/Chinese/etc. The homework group platform provides a connection to the continuously growing number of 170 million children all over China.
What you will be doing:
Enthusiastically teach live broadcasted open classes, alongside a Chinese teacher for students all over China, aged 3-12
Participate in every stage of the educational product development; including revising materials based on in-class experiences, helping to excel student performance and evolving online educational standards.
Participate in video and film production for the curriculum and marketing teams
Working hours include 10:30 AM - 7:30 PM (Beijing time) with two days off per week. Duties during working hours include live class, pilot/testing, marketing activities and office hours
You must have the unrestricted right to work in the US, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand or Ireland to qualify.
Qualification requirements
Bachelor's degree
Experience requirements
At least two years of teaching experience in English Language Teaching ages 3-12
Drama, Performance Arts or Music background is a strong advantage
$3,800 to $4,500 per month
This competitive salary is after tax and dependent on experience
