Job Description:

Shane English School in Nanjing is seeking English teachers to join their ever-expanding team of professionals. Successful applicants will be met at the airport, given a comprehensive training and development, and be assigned a Foreign Welfare Officer to ensure transition into life in Nanjing is seamless!

Successful teachers will be scheduled with:
• Up to 25 hours per week (+ 3 office hours)
• 2 consecutive days off
• Class sizes of 6 – 12 students
All curriculum and materials are provided, but the school encourages creativity and welcome teachers to incorporate their materials and ideas into the lesson.

Salary and Benefits:
• Up to 15,500 RMB
• 5,000 RMB Flight reimbursement

Applicants applying from outside of China:
• 4,000 RMB re-sign bonus
• 4,000 RMB reimbursement of medical check and document notarization
• 22 days paid vacation
• Option start-up loan
• Health insurance
• Annual staff trips
• Arrival hotel provided (up to 4 days) and assistance finding an apartment
• Foreign Welfare Officer to provide comprehensive assistance in getting set up (SIM card, bank account, etc)

Shane English School Nanjing has been open for a decade and currently has several hundred students in both the training center and associated kindergarten. Their team includes people from all over the world, most of whom have been with them for several years.
They have a very friendly and semi-casual environment with a fantastic group of local teachers and admin staff. The school itself is tucked in a courtyard off a major street, easily accessible by transit and minutes away from any amenities one could need, including coffee, shops, restaurants, and fast food.

Additional Requirements and Qualifications:
All applicants will need to hold a degree, a 120-hour TEFL certificate, a clean criminal background check, and be a Native-English speaker from one of the following countries: UK, US, Ireland, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, or South Africa.
