Overview
Teach in Taiwan - Start the New School Year with Us! Looking for a Passionate English Teacher for Young Learners!
With over 30 years of history, Chiba Language School is the pre-eminent private language school in Pingtung City, Southern part of Taiwan, and the first to teach both English and Japanese. Our staff of friendly, professional teachers are ready to help you make the move to Taiwan, whether you are a brand new graduate or experienced teacher. At Chiba, we’ll make sure you are supported every step of the way.
Fixed Guarantee Hours:
9:00am to 11:30 am, 2:00pm to 6:00pm
11:30-12:00 (optional lunch is provided)
Monday to Fridays only !! No night classes and No weekend classes!!
Working hours per week approximately 17h45m
Teaching hours per week approximately 22h15m
Include lesson planning time, field trips, events, kids’ bathroom breaks, snack time, game time, library time, parent pick-up time, etc.
Homeroom English Teacher:
Kindergarten age to elementary age students
Small class size (5 to 12)
Taiwanese co-teacher in class for classroom management support
Schedule, curriculum, and teaching materials are provided
What We Offer:
-$65,000 NTD monthly salary + $1000 NTD monthly attendance bonus
-$60,000 NTD guaranteed bonus upon completion of contract
-ARC work visa (cost will be teacher's responsibility)
-Free furnished accommodations within the walking distance of the school (utility bills are split between teachers)
-$5000 NTD paid 5 days training
-All federal vacation days
-Paid bad weather days
-3 paid days off after 6 months, 7 paid days off second year contract
-2 paid sick days
-Enrollment in Taiwan’s national health care plan
Requirements (Government Mandated):
-Passport holder from Canada, USA, UK, Ireland, Australia, South Africa, New Zealand
-Bachelor’s Degree
-Good Mental and Physical Health
-One year commitment
-Criminal record check
