Overview

We are looking for teachers for our school in Guangzhou, southern China. The work hours for this position are very low, no more than 30 hours per week which includes all class hours and office hours. This gives you plenty of time to explore or pursue other passions during your time off.

Requirements:

We only require that you are an outgoing person with an ability to get on well with children. All candidates will be considered, regardless of whether you have a degree or not, or your country of origin. For non-native English speakers we require that you speak English well with a neutral accent.

All teachers will receive the following benefits:

- 10000 - 15000 RMB monthly salary (after tax). This depends on a number of factors, including your teaching experience, your qualifications and your country of origin (native speakers will be paid higher) 
- A free, fully furnished apartment for the duration of your contract 
- 3 weeks fully paid vacation per year 
- 5000 RMB airfare reimbursement at the end of your contract

About the Position

You will be teaching children between 3 and 12 years of age. ESL teaching involves playing games and different activities to teach simple English words and phrases to the students. We create as much of an immersive learning environment as possible, and make use of interactive whiteboard software during the lessons.

The curriculum and lesson plans are provided to you, and all new teachers will undergo training to ensure you’re confident before stepping in front of a class.

The work schedule is very light, with a maximum of 30 hours per week, with 2 days off on a Monday and Tuesday

The specific schedule is as follows:

Wednesday to Friday

4:30 pm to 9 pm

Saturday and Sunday

9 am to 12:30 pm 
2:30 pm to 7 pm
