Job Description:

ESL Teacher

• Travel to Ecuador to teach English as a Second language for 10 weeks.
• Strengthening English skills of local English teachers. The program’s objective is to improve language skills, teaching technique, performance in the classroom, and professional development.
• Students need to increase 1 level according to the CEFR. Students will start at either an A1 or B1 Level.
• Spend each Saturday and Sunday teaching English. Teach for 8 hours each Saturday and 4 hours each Sunday. Monday through Friday is free.
• Dates: Exact dates are yet to be determined. Starting late August, returning mid-October.

Qualifications:

• A master’s degree in teaching English as a Second Language, or similar (required)
• 3 years of teaching experience

Salary:  

$12-15 per hour, approximately $50 per hour once covered expenses are factored in.
