Overview

Qualified EFL Teacher needed for language school in beautiful Galicia. Classes are from Monday to Friday and start in the afternoon. You will be responsible for helping groups of young learners and adults achieve their full potential in all four skills: speaking, listening, reading and writing. Our lessons are fun, engaging and communicative. You will enjoy the freedom and creativity of designing your own lesson plans while following a set curriculum for each age group and level.

Teachers work a maximum of 24 hours per week with potential of overtime if they require. Our teachers do not have extra office hours and are not expected to take part in extra activities.

We are looking for a long-term teacher to develop stability and consistency with the students. Life is slower here compared to the cities so this position would suit someone who is looking for a relaxed lifestyle surrounded by nature, and/or interested in activities such as hiking, kayaking. There are plenty of festivals in and around the town throughout the year and Ponferrada is thirty minutes away if you end up craving the city. Help is available for accommodation which is cheaper here compared to some other parts of Spain. We can also give help and advise with gaining residency here in Spain should you require.
